How can I receive advance credits from UConn?
You may be eligible to receive transfer credits at UConn if you have taken: (1) college-level courses offered in a high school partnership program, (2) courses taken for academic credit at any college or university on a part-time, non-matriculated basis (nine credits or less per semester), (3) “A” level exams, which are reviewed on an individual basis, or (4) courses offered through military services schools. Make sure to send your official transcripts to the Undergraduate Admissions office for evaluation.

I’m a transfer student. Will all my previous coursework count toward my UConn degree?
Your transfer credit evaluation will be available during your academic advising at Orientation. You may receive the transfer credit evaluation of your previous college work via mail before your arrival at Orientation. The credit evaluation will indicate the way in which your courses are transferring; your UConn School/College will let you know how your courses apply to degree requirements at the University. Your transfer credit evaluation will be used when you meet with an advisor to register for classes. Please bring it with you to facilitate your academic course selection.
