Can I bring my car to campus?

To be eligible to park an automobile on campus, a UConn student needs to have 54 or more credits or be a commuter.

Where can I park my car on campus?

If you are eligible to bring an automobile to campus, you can obtain an on-campus parking decal from UConn’s Department of Parking and Transportation Services. To apply for a parking permit, the registration of a vehicle registered to a student or an immediate family member and a valid driver's license are needed. Students should only park in their assigned parking area.

How will I get around the UConn campus?

The University offers free shuttle bus service to many on-campus locations including residence halls, academic buildings and student activity locations.  Shuttle service also includes pick-up and drop off service at some area apartment complexes. Contact the Department of Parking and Transportation Services for more information.

Is there airport transportation?

The UConn Department of Transportation Services runs shuttles to and from Bradley Interantional Airport on a reservation basis. Reservations must be made at least one week prior to the departure/pick-up date. More information, including costs, can be found online in this WORD document.
